A spinner of stories for corporate brands by trade, Suzy has also been writing fiction and personal essays for years. She has had two short stories published in literary magazines and was a quarter-finalist in a screenplay contest. She keeps active in the writer’s community by participating in programming from the Tennessee Williams Festival in New Orleans, Na-No-Wri-Mo, classes from LitReactor and a dedicated writer’s group. She is a fan and follower of Jami Attenberg’s 1,000 Words of Summer and Leigh Stein’s Writer’s Blog. When not behind the keyboard, you can find Suzy walking her beloved pooch Mia with her husband Tom in a neighborhood in Chicago.
